SAF and its allied mercenary movements are disseminating false

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its allied mercenary movements are disseminating false allegations and misinformation to mislead local and international public opinion regarding the situation in El Fasher, North Darfur State.

We are unwavering in our commitment to protecting all our citizens in El Fasher and other regions of Sudan. This principled position arises from our profound respect for the values and principles of the Sudanese people and our adherence to all international conventions and laws.

The valiant soldiers of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) recognize that they are engaged in a conflict on behalf of millions of our people who aspire to establish a state founded on the principles of justice and democracy. Consequently, our forces strictly adhere to the rules of engagement and uphold human rights, international humanitarian law, and all relevant international conventions.

Our stance on the situation in El Fasher has been unequivocally clear since the onset of this conflict. Our forces have chosen consistently to avoid any armed engagements that would endanger civilians, adhering to previous agreements to this effect.

Recently, certain armed mercenary movements have abandoned their neutrality, aligning themselves with the hijacked leadership of the SAF and their extremist patrons from the former regime, and have explicitly declared their intention to attack our forces.

These adversaries have launched more than 20 assaults on our positions, each met with commendable valor and discipline by our brave RSF soldiers. Meanwhile, SAF warplanes have targeted innocent civilians in a series of documented airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of innocent people, injuries, and the destruction of public and private infrastructure.

The latest atrocity was the SAF bombing of the Babiker Nahar Children's Hospital, which killed dozens of civilians and injured many others.

The blatant schemes of the SAF and its allied mercenaries will not succeed in creating a rift between the RSF and the Sudanese people, or in spreading misinformation to international observers.

To them, we declare: now, it is too late. The Sudanese people are no longer deceived by the manipulative tactics and unfounded accusations perpetrated by the National Congress Party regime.
